Speedie & Associates has worked on projects all across Arizona from north to south, east to west. In fact, it's rare when a client inquires about a piece of land we haven't touched in some way since our inception in 1980. We've worked for public and private clients, and our resume of projects is expansive.

PSHIA Phoenix Sky Train
Phoenix, Arizona
- This project is a 1.92-mile long train that features a transit-oriented design and links passengers between multiple ground transportation modes and the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Terminal. The elevated guideway traverses 3,000 acres of landlocked airfields, terminals, and roadways. The project has three new elevated passenger stations and links the region's 44th Street Valley Metro Light rail station with the airport's economy parking area and Terminal 4. It also includes the world's first transit bridge over an active taxiway which is three-span, cast-in-place post-tensioned box girder bridge with a 340 FT main span and 90 FT high.

ISM Raceway Modernization - Phoenix International Raceway
Avondale, Arizona
- The existing bench grandstand was demolished and replaced with 20-inch wide seats, a new 23,000-seat grandstand - bringing the venue's total seating to 45,000. Four new escalators and six new elevators were installed to help guests get to their seats. The project added premium RV parking, renovated suites, new concessions, ADA-compliant bathrooms, a bistro bar, and a rebuilt midway with a corporate hospitality bar and grill. PIR completely reconstructs the infield to add a new fan zone featuring car garages with glass sectional doors so fans can watch teams tinker on the vehicles prior to races. The infield also has new dining options, guest services, emergency medical services, fire support, and a tire center. A new pedestrian tunnel connects the grandstands to the fan zone and infield. The start/finish line is repositioned to what was originally the second turn to create more high-energy restarts during a race.

Apex Motorsports Park
Maricopa, Arizona
- Apex Motor Club was developed on 280 acres in Maricopa. This $40 million complex features five-car garage condos, a clubhouse, a pool, go-cart track for kids, a fueling station, a restaurant, meeting spaces, and other amenities - along with 4.2 miles of track, up from the current 2.3 miles of winding road. Apex's private course isn't connected to public streets, which means motorists can reach top speeds around 170 miles per hour - or as fast as their high-performance vehicles can go.

TopGolf
Scottsdale, Gilbert, Marana, Glendale, Arizona
- S&A is proud to have worked on TopGolf Riverwalk, TopGolf Gilbert, TopGolf Tucson, and TopGolf Glendale.
- Topgolf venues feature a chef-driven menu, top-shelf drinks, big-screen TVs, flexible private event spaces, and music in climate-controlled hitting bays for all-seasons comfort.

Solana Solar Power Generating Station
Gila Bend, Arizona
- Solana Solar Power Generating Station, with an output capacity of 280MW, is one of the largest concentrating solar power (CSP) plants in the world. The Solana solar power plant provides clean energy to 70,000 households and reduces down carbon dioxide emissions by up to 475,000t each year.

Wet 'n' Wild
Glendale, Arizona
- Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix is Arizona's biggest water park. Located on Pinnacle Peak Road, off I-17, the park is the largest in the state featuring more than 30 exhilarating attractions. The park features attractions like a Maximum Velocity - Dueling H2O Coasters, Boogie Board Beach, a multi-level children's area that full of dumping buckets, kid friendly slides and interactive water cannons; or Monsoon Bay, a 700,000-gallon wave pool that generates 4-foot swells.

Rose Acre Farms
La Paz County, Arizona
- Indiana-based Rose Acre Farms, the second-largest egg producer in the U.S. opened an operation south of Bouse in La Paz County, Arizona. The Bouse-area facility is a 2,600-acre farm with 3 million laying hens.

David and Gladys Wright House
Phoenix, Arizona
- S&A provided special inspection services for this historic home.
- The David and Gladys Wright House is a Frank Lloyd Wright residence built in 1952 in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. It has historically been listed with an address of 5212 East Exeter Boulevard, but currently has an entrance on the 4500 block of North Rubicon Avenue.

Castles N' Coasters
Phoenix, Arizona
- Castles N' Coasters is an amusement park and family amusement center located in Phoenix, Arizona. The approximately 10-acre park features four outdoor 18-hole miniature golf courses, several rides, and an indoor video game arcade.

Medieval Times
Scottsdale, Arizona
- Medieval Times' 10th castle opened in fall of 2019 in Scottsdale off of Via de Ventura and the 101. The 80,000 square-foot facility features a 1000-seat arena, a 2 1/2-hour dinner show with a four-course meal, the "Hall of Arms" where suits of armor are displayed, a museum showcasing torture devices from the era and a torture museum.

Legoland Discovery Center
Tempe, Arizona
- This project is a 60,000-square-foot attraction at the Arizona Mills retail outlet in Tempe.

Monroe Street Abbey Restoration
Phoenix, Arizona
- Built in 1929 for the Phoenix First Baptist Church, it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places and known for its Gothic architecture, grand columns and signature rose window. Redevelopment efforts are 25 years in the making. S&A has been involved since 1995 in various stages of development and restoration. Hopes for seeing the visions for this unique facility become reality are holding steady.

iFLY Phoenix
Scottsdale, Arizona
- Arizona's first indoor skydiving facility: This skydiving simulator features a 20-foot below-grade structure incorporated into the 72-foot tall building, which includes two 70-foot tilt-up concrete towers and a glass flight chamber.

Westworld Equidome Expansion, Scottsdale, AZ -
Scottsdale, Arizona
- Expansion of the existing equidome arena. Phase 1 includes a complete renovation and enclosure of the existing Equidome and the addition of an enclosed East Paddock area and an enclosed new South Hall. The entire facility is independently climate-controlled to allow for year-round event scheduling. Phase 2 encompasses the new North Hall and all exterior improvements and landscaping. The North Hall addition is a column free building and is a completely enclosed and climate controlled facility that can operate independently from the remainder of the Equestrian Center.

Hickman's Egg Ranch
Ak-Chin, Arizona
- This project was completed in August 2003 and is an Industrial - Egg Ranch Processing Plant and Hen Houses that is 1,417,390 SF (approx. 35.33 acres.)

Cannon Beach
Mesa, Arizona
- A 37-acre surf, shop, gym, and multi-use development project at Power and Warner roads, just north of the Loop 202 Santan in Mesa. This development will include Revel Surf, a three-acre surf lagoon, as well as restaurants, shops, and other attractions.

Sea Life Arizona
Tempe, Arizona
- This 26,000 square foot aquarium features more than 5,000 sea creatures including sharks, rays, two rescued sea turtles, and tropical fish.

- Geotechnical investigation, analysis, and recommendation for this indoor aquarium and exhibit space. Wildlife World Zoo Phase III
Litchfield Park, Arizona
- Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium is a 215-acre zoo and aquarium in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The zoo specializes in African and South American animals, and has Arizona's largest collection of exotic animals

Meteor Crater & Barringer Space Museum Improvements
Winslow, Arizona
- Over 50,000 years ago space and earth came together when a huge iron-nickel meteorite, approximately 150 feet wide and weighing several hundred thousand tons, impacted an area outside of Flagstaff, Arizona, with a force 150 times greater than an atomic bomb. The result of this impact was devastation for miles and the creation of the giant bowl-shaped cavity we call Meteor Crater, which measures 550 feet deep and almost a mile wide. S&A provided geotechnical services for improvements and expansions to the facilities at this unique natural attraction in Northern Arizona. The work included a deck expansion, retail shop, and rest area.
