Careers at Speedie: Field Technicians

Speedie & Associates, Inc. recognizes that people are its most important and visible asset and is always interested in reviewing the qualifications of knowledgeable, motivated, qualified, customer service-oriented individuals. At the present time we are looking for experienced technicians for our Heavy Highway, Commercial Field Services and Northern Arizona Departments to work in a field and mobile laboratory setting.

Requirements:

Technicians - Heavy Highway Department

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as good organizational skills.
• Pick-up truck for on-the-job use.
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions, acceptable three-year M.V.D. driving record, proof of current vehicle insurance.
• One or more current ATTI laboratory certifications (asphalt, soils/ag)
• Experience working on ADOT contractor Q/C projects
• The ability to work on out-of-town projects for an extended period of time
• Additional certifications, such as ATTI Field, ACI Field and ACI Strength Testing are highly desirable.

Technicians - Commercial Field Services and Northern Arizona

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as good organizational skills.
• Pick-up truck for on-the-job use.
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions, acceptable three-year M.V.D. driving record, proof of current vehicle insurance.
• ATTI and ACI Field certifications
• The ability to work on out-of-town projects for an extended period of time is highly desireable.
• Additional industry-related certifications, such as ATTI Asphalt and Soils/Ag; ACI Strength Testing would be a plus.
